Hotel Description

Location. Opened in 2004, the Guangdong Hotel in Shanghai, China, is located on Yi Xian Road adjacent to the DaBaiShu industry and trading center. Several prestigious universities, such as Fudan, Tongji and Shanghai International Studies University are all located in the immediate area. While not in the city center, Shanghai Metro Line No. 3 and the Inner Elevated Ring highway make the property accessible to business and tourist destinations through Puxi and Pudong New Area.
Hotel Features. The modern 26 storey building, which becomes brightly lit at night, houses 338 guestrooms. Guestrooms are designed in both European and Japanese styles, with the later designed to represent the tranquility found in nature. For dining, guests can enjoy the ShiKuMen Chinese Restaurant, which features Shanghainese food in a class 1920's Shanghai atmosphere. Euroland features western cuisine. There is also the Kichou Japanese Restaurant. For entertainment, the Grand Party Lounge Bar and Dream Sakura KTV allow guests to revel well into the night. The Guangdong Hotel Shanghai's provides massage and other spa services in the Ocean Sauna and Health Center. For business travelers, a complete business center features multi-function conference rooms and high-speed Internet access.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms feature light carpeting and light wood. Deco headboards for beds and clean glass lines in bathrooms give the rooms a cool modern feel. The 16th and 17th floors are non-smoking.
